Web
Site Awards
We've been online a long time. Back
then, it was considered extremely
important to have your Web site acquire
Awards - and
to post them prominently.
It's been many years
since we've stopped and applied for any
new awards, but we so very proud of the
ones we did receive from these organizations.
Update: We
were just awarded the Size
Wise Excellence Award! Thank
you.

Did
You Know?
Mirsky's
Worst Of The Web (WOTW) was devoted
to showcasing what Mirsky considered "the
worst web sites ever". WOTW was the
first well-trafficked site to feature "bad" web
sites for entertainment purposes.
WOTW was created by David Mirsky, a former
Harvard Lampoon writer, in January 1995,
in response to sites such as Glenn Davis's "Cool
Site of the Day".
The format was simple:
three days a week, Mirsky would select
about three new sites, providing links
and a short humorous comment.
The site’s tagline was "If
it isn't Mirsky's then it isn't the worst!"
A surprising number of people
whose web sites were featured on WOTW took
it as a badge of honour to be slammed by
Mirsky.
Some web sites even proudly
had a link to WOTW's review through a cheerful
graphic that read "As
featured on WOTW!"
