Velvet Silk Scarf for use with Fiber
Etch®
An absolutely gorgeous Velvet
scarf that is perfect for creating Devore'
techniques by using Fiber
Etch®. The scarf is a velvet silk/rayon
blend which means that Fiber Etch will
etch away the velvet/rayon, and leave the
sheer silk behind.
The velvet scarf dyes beautifully.
After you etch designs into your velvet,
you can dye your scarf to truly create
a custom look.
If you decide to use a vat dyeing method,
such as Ritz Dye on the stove top, simply
be careful with the fringe to avoid excess
tangling.
The velvet scarf is:
• 11" wide
x 60" long
•
4" fringe
on both narrow ends
It is extremely
important that you do
not leave
the Fiber Etch on your velvet scarf overnight
or try to remove the velvet before the
Fiber Etch is dry. You will destroy your
scarf.
