The second to last dress in this
series was made from individual
pieces of English cotton lace
that I tea dyed, and sewed together
heirloom style; at minimum 75
yards of lace were used. There
was no pattern, just my imagination.
I did this just to show that
it could be done, and I had a
lot more free time then too. The
lining is silk batiste and the
ribbons are silk, also tea dyed.
All together that
dress took about 8 weeks to do
- it was a true labor of love.
