As a child, I always made gifts for
family and friends; then I grew up (so
they tell me) and decided that a store
bought gift was much better. Of course
I also knew everything there possibly was
to know, but that's another story.
 Regardless
of how my checkbook now looks, I still
find it much more rewarding
to make most of my gifts.
The instructions and ideas I'm presenting
to you are for simple
and inexpensive, handmade
and heart felt gifts. You may choose to
dress these items up, combine them into
gift baskets, and of course keep some for
yourself.

value.
The green, leafy part of the plant
is typically used. General usage differs
between culinary herbs and medicinal herbs.
A medicinal herb may be a shrub or other
woody plant, whereas a culinary herb is
