Jewelry Findings & Accessories
Welcome
to my newest obsession:
using jewelry findings and accessories
to create - stuff! My Bell
Earrings used 11
bells for each one, and they're super
light-weight. They only took about 30
minutes total to make.
You can count this as one of those wonderful
perks; I get to play with all the things
I think would be fun. Have I mentioned
that I have a wonderful
life lately?
So to start you off we have: bells
in bright and pastel colors, along with
silver and gold (can't you just hear
Burl Ives singing: 'silver
and gold, silver and gold' -- I've seen
Rudolph far too man times.) Split rings,
jump rings, ear wires and a delicate
Sterling Silver charm bracelet.

A Charm
Bracelet is an item of jewelry
worn around the wrist.
It carries
personal charms: decorative pendants or
trinkets which are signifiers of the wearer's
life.
Charm bracelets have been the subject
of several waves of trends. Queen
Victoria wore charm bracelets that started a fashion
among the European noble classes.
Soldiers
returning home after World War II brought
home trinkets made by craftsmen local to
the area where they were fighting to give
to loved ones.
"Thank
you for making it easy to buy just what
I was thinking I needed. An internet
friend has organized a Crazy patchwork
swap, so I needed the charms... Thank
you for your service." - Rosemary
