We beaded all the dancers with glass
seed beads and even added a feather to
the hat of dancer #7.
The Dianna's Dance pattern
was designed in memory of my mother,
Dianna Scott, who loved to dance.
My folks are finally able to go dancing
again, but now it’s across all those
clouds; you’re talking about a really
big dance floor.

- 1-1/2 yards 45" fabric for
blocks base
- 1/2 yard 45" fabric for
sashing (light)
- 1/4 yard 45" fabric for
sashing (dark)
- Fabric scraps for dancers (three
or more color variations for
each of the nine dancers)
- 2 yards fusible web (Steam-A-Seam
etc.)
- 1 yard heavy tear-away type stabilizer
- 4-1/4 yards seam binding for
edge finish
- Applique pressing sheet (optional,
but highly recommended)
- Threads to match applique's (rayon,
sliver, silk, and cotton)
- Neutral color thread for bobbin
- Glass beads (optional)
