Sewing
Savvy Techniques and Tips
Over the
years
I've managed to picked up quite a collection
of sewing information. Besides the
expected 'what
not to do', I've acquired
the 'what
really does work', and the 'oh
that's how you use it' lessons
too.
Many hours have been spent
in un-sewing, un-lining, and un-interfacing.
But it's amazing how well you remember
after those really frustrating
situations.
Along with passing on to you some of what
I learned, I'm counting on you to
keep on asking questions. That's what
this wonderful community of textile and
crafts people do best: learn
from, and share their knowledge with, each
other.

Beaded
Purse
The beaded
purse below
was made using a single, double-thread strand over a six week period of time.
There was no written pattern involved,
just a lot playing.
It's the most gorgeous
thing I've ever made from beads and no,
I'll never do it again.
